Georgian Luge Athlete Dies on Practice Track
Sadly, a prospecting young Georgian athlete was killed on the Whittler Luge track today, going over 80 miles an hour and slamming into a metal column. Georgia has stated it will honor him by competing, and Vancouver and the Olympic Commitee have decided to place the Canadian and Olympic Flags at half staff for the loss.

Luge Competitions for Tonight stir Emotions and Nerves
Following Yesterday’s tragedy, Many of the competitors in the Luge competition are feeling rattled at least, with a course setting record speeds. Needless to say, the Olympic staff has taken steps to ensure calmness and safety.
